Rineke Nijssen

Rineke Nijssen is a versatile artist with an urge to explore materials and shapes. Favorite materials and techniques emerge from her experiments, which she explores further. The emphasis of her work is on making sculptures and objects from glass and bronze. Previously she also made absurd drawings to look at longer. The 'Crazy Bekkie' that Rineke uses as a logo also comes from these drawings.

Her love for shapes from nature is reflected in all her work. Flowers, animals, people, they all pass by. Sometimes solitary but often in patterns and repetitions.

Rineke works from her studio in Elst, municipality of Overbetuwe in Gelderland.
