Yuna Mae Keeper of the Peace

Inspired by my first granddaughter, the idea arose to create a picture where the world would be a safe place.
The body of the goalkeeper is made of paper mache and is decorated. Feather wings were used and then the dress was made of flower leaves and strings of beads. A lot of broken glass, cardboard, beads and stencils were used for the background and these were later covered with several layers of alcohol ink and spray paint. Because an old oak frame has been used, it is covered with layers of lace and colored with the same inks. The white leaves and fuchsia flowers were cut from an old canvas, the other flowers are a collage of pink paper roses.
